Ground forces to feature for first time at MAST

A highly topical session, “Amphibious Operations” (including discussions on Coral Reef Access), will unite Ground and Navy Forces in the first session of its kind at any MAST. Delegates to this feature session will hear presentations on both Marines and Naval operations/technologies.

Japan Ground Self-Defence Force has already confirmed its support for the event by sending conference delegates and VIPs to participate in both conference and exhibition.

Speakers in the session include:

• Colonel Nozomu Yoshitomi, Chief, Division for Strategy/Concept, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, Japan;
• Colonel Peder Ohlsson, 1st Marine Regiment, Sweden;
• Dr Kalev Sepp, US Naval Postgraduate School, United States.
