42 billion reasons to exhibit at MAST Asia 2015

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s cabinet has approved Japan’s largest ever defence budget of 4.98 trillion yen ($42 bn).

As the soon to be published MAST Asia exhibitor list proves, the leading international defence manufacturers and suppliers seeking opportunities in this exciting ‘emerging market’ are already signed up to meet senior-level operators, buyers, and technologists at MAST Asia this May.

Procurement programmes to be funded by the budget increase will include amphibious vehicles and maritime patrol aircraft to deal with the “changing situation” around Japan (as stated by Defence Minister Gen Nakatani).
