MAST Asia 2015 trade-show: THE complete showcase of global defence suppliers and buyers, doing business into and out of Japan

Sat 7 Feb 2015 @ 11:00

Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force

With more than 120 global government agencies and commercial organisations signed up to sponsor and/or exhibit/present at MAST Asia this May, the event will present you with a definitive “who’s who” of active organisations in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.

As well as all of Japan’s top domestic defence exporters, you will meet smaller SMEs (from Japan and the broader Asian region) and, of course, the major global defence contractors currently offering platforms, systems and technologies that address specific Japanese/regional defence capabilities/operational requirements.

Given that MAST Asia is Japan’s first international defence exhibition/conference (following the announcement of its new defence export policy) take up at the first biennial trade-show is staggering, and visitors can expect to discover a huge array of innovative undersea, surface, air & space, and cyber solutions.

Ship tours in the nearby navy bases in Yokosuka will give visitors/delegates the chance to see technologies on show in the exhibition active on state-of-the-art Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and US Navy platforms.

Exclusively to MAST attendees, the Japanese Ministry of Defense will open its doors at its Technical Research and Development Institute for Tours of The Naval Systems Research Centre.

NB: For security reasons pre-registration for both ship visits and the NSRC tours is essential (details to follow) and guests must be in possession of both their MAST badge and photo ID during the tours. Registration will available online soon.
