Japanese defence companies to stand out at MAST Asia 2017
Visitors/delegates to MAST Asia 2017 can expect to meet dozens more Japanese manufacturers and suppliers than in the first edition (2015).
As evidenced by the soon to be published MAST Asia exhibitor list, the relatively modest presence of Japanese industry on a “Japan Pavilion” in 2015 will be superseded by several corporate pavilions from the leading Japanese defence contractors, showcasing the breadth of their technology offerings.
Since 2014’s announcement of Japan’s “Three Principals” (policy for exporting defence equipment), followed closely by 2015’s launch of MAST Asia and the formation of Japan’s Acquisition Technology and Logistics Agency (ATLA), there has been a significant upswing in activities by Japanese defence companies to market themselves internationally, and meet prospective customers and partners. MAST Asia provides a truly unique global event environment in Japan to support this new marketing mix, and achieve their global goals.
As well as visiting displays from the top Japanese defence contractor and meeting senior executives, delegates can hear in-depth technical presentations and keynote addresses from government authorities in the adjacent MAST Asia conference.
Registration for delegates and visitors is open now. Delegate places will allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Early-bird discounts available now.
