The sky is not the limit for MAST Asia

At MAST Asia 2019 in Tokyo, Japan’s space exploration agency, JAXA, will showcase state-of-the-art space technology being developed and deployed by its space domain specialists.
Whilst MAST has often featured conference papers and exhibits of space technology for maritime security, MAST Asia will be the first time to see “pure” space-domain equipment.
The central exhibit of the JAXA booth will be Hayabusa 2 (pictured below), the 6m x 4m satellite which just recently landed on an asteroid, detonated an explosive charge and collected samples for analysis.
JAXA is just one of several Japanese companies, exhibiting at MAST Asia for the first time, presenting visitors and exhibitors with a broader spectrum of displays from the host nation.
Equally the ATLA (Acquistion, Technology, and Logistics Agency) stand – double the size of that in 2017 – will feature more innovative MSMEs than before, offering you the opportunity to discover tomorrow’s technology, today.
