Mitsubishi Heavy Industries confirmed to return for MAST Asia 2019

As the MAST Asia 2019 exhibitor list reflects, the full complement of all major Japanese defence contractors will again be present at MAST Asia for the third time running.
With the addition of aerospace and space displays, visitors to MAST Asia 2019 will truly get the full perspective of security from Sea, Air, and Space domains.

MAST Asia’s organisers (Japan Defense KK) revealed today that the cooperation of several Japanese associations/agencies (JADI, JAXA, SAJ, and SJAC) alongside ongoing support from the Japanese Ministry of Defence/ATLA and various Self Defense Forces this year, has been in preparation for a dynamic event launch next year…
Japan Defense 2020 will take place from Monday 2nd to Wednesday 4th November 2020 within Tokyo Metropolis – just 15 minutes away from MOD, ATLA, JMSDF, JASDF, and JGSDF.
The full MAST Asia event – conference, trade-show, hosted VIPs/networking, etc. – will feature alongside dedicated seminars and exhibits from the Air, Space, and Cyber domains.
MAST Asia 2019 sponsors/exhibitors will receive first options on space/sponsorships (and discounted rates) during MAST Asia 2019 in Chiba next month. Non supporters will be able to reserve space and sponsorships from July onwards on a first come, first served basis.

Contractors exhibiting in the adjacent exhibition (e.g. Terma [Platinum Sponsor], Thales, Lockheed Martin, and Weibel) can join an interactive programme that takes customers from technical conference sessions to see exhibits, and “experience” actively deployed platforms and systems in the nearby harbour.
Registration for all ship tours will soon be available to all pre-registered conference delegates and additionally to visitors (from August, subject to availability).
Sponsors and exhibitors will be offered “customer only tour time” to support their own exhibits.

Make the most of your time in Tokyo next month with the new MAST Asia app, that will find the conference sessions and exhibits most relevant to you.
You will also be able to find like-minded individuals and arrange impromptu B2B or B2G meetings.
Vital information such as conference-room numbers and a map of the event, local area, (and information on the Annual Party) will be included.

Visitors to the third biennial MAST Asia will join defence leaders from around the world this June.
The VIPs’/Hosted Buyers’ programme will give exhibitors and sponsors several opportunities to meet and hold B2G meetings with these high-value decision makers/customers, and visitors/delegates will see them at the official social functions (in addition to the event areas).
Regional VIPs who will be visiting MAST and joining high-level Japanese government and defence figures include Chiefs of Navy, Airforce and major procurement roles from:

Due to security reasons, pre-show conference registrations must be made before 31st May 2019, not in June as originally planned.
After 31st May, registrations will be accepted both online and onsite, but – with additional security checks required – at the full rate.
