Leading defence marketer joins MAST team

Thu 9 Jan 2020 @ 14:13

Samantha West

We are delighted that Samantha West – well known to the global community for many years as spearheading the branding and marketing activities for large tri-defence organisations (including ATLAS and QinetiQ) – has joined the MAST team as Marketing Manager. She is best known for her presence and media engagement at exhibitions both in the UK and overseas.

Sam brings 20 years’ events experience to MAST’s new marketing department, widening the reach and influence of current marketing and PR/Advertising efforts, and sees the appointment as a great opportunity.

Sam said of her new role: “I could not be more excited about working with the MAST team. I have known the event since inception and been privileged to see it grow. The highlights were being involved as an exhibitor at many events including the first event in Nice and the launch event in Japan. I look forward to meeting you all again.”

MAST’s Marketing and Sales representatives will be present at next week’s Surface Navy Annual symposium, and happy to discuss future events, not least the fourth edition of MAST Asia (Japan) in central Tokyo, this November.

MAST Asia new exhibitor alert – Alamarin-Jet

Wed 8 Jan 2020 @ 11:59

We are delighted to welcome first time MAST Asia exhibitor, Alamarin-Jet to the event in November 2020.

With its growing team of international experts, Alamarin-Jet is well on course to becoming a world leading manufacturer of water jet propulsion systems (for both manned and unmanned vessels).

As MAST Asia enters its fourth edition, it has an unmatched track record of support from all the major Japanese defence players (government, services, and industry). Exhibitor applications are being received from several first-time SME exhibitors in Japan (exhibiting defence equipment for the very first time, since the three principles announcement in 2014 which launched MAST Asia itself).

A briefing to sponsors/exhibitors and embassies’ officials is currently being planned for February, and whilst the early-bird exhibitor rate is now passed, MAST Asia remains the first and best international defence event in Japan.
