MAST 2021 Call for Papers - join the post-Covid defence conference of the year!
Tue 9 Feb 2021 @ 11:46
MAST is returning in September with its renowned mix of conference, exhibition and (now much-missed) face-time for senior-level global maritime defence operators, policy makers, programme managers, technologists, and industry executives to exchange information and discuss defence trends.
The fifteenth anniversary event sees a return to its French Riviera origins, this time Toulon (Europe’s largest naval base, and principal French Navy base).
MAST 2021 takes place at a time of significant shift in Europe’s geopolitical climate, and major maritime defence modernisations – for example, France’s Next Generation Aircraft Carrier programme (porte-avions de nouvelle génération [PANG] and supporting platforms/systems).
Prospective authors are prompted to submit a short abstract(s) – operations or technology-based – focusing on key programmes under RFP, quotation, or otherwise e.g. France’s Next Generation Aircraft Carrier, including (but not exclusively):
- Future missions/capabilities
- Novel/innovative systems for propulsion, communications
- Sensors
- Combat systems/weapons
- Unmanned/manned aerial platforms/drones
Speakers/paper-authors are invited to submit papers for inclusion in the conference sessions NOW.
Paper selections will take place immediately and up to the summer.
NB: All Covid-19 safety measures will be observed throughout the event.
